Chartmetric, a profitable 5-year-old startup, with a focus on music and data is looking for a Data Engineer to join our fast-growing team. We have the most advanced market intelligence tool developed for the music industry. We are trusted by Universal Music Group, Sony, Warner, as well as hundreds of other music companies and industry professionals.Chartmetric has created a website for the music industry to better understand the activity happening around artists. We combine hundreds of thousands of data points across Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram through our beautifully designed tool in order to make sense of the increasingly complex landscape of the music industry.

 

**What You’ll Do**
Work with the Data team to improve the ETL processes for 2.5 million artists, over 20 million tracks, over a million playlists, and more
Develop data ingestion pipelines to integrate new streaming and social media services into our analytics platform
Manage our data across AWS RDS, Elasticsearch, and our data warehouse on Snowflake
Write Python code and PostgreSQL queries and deploy them to our Production tools
Work with Data Scientists to help our customers make better decisions

 

**Who you are**
2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Experience with Python, SQL, Postgres, Airflow, Snowflake and AWS
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
